Needless? Yes. Enjoyable? Also, yes. I'm not entirely sure <em>'Lady and the Tramp'</em> was a film that needed remaking but here we are. This 2019 production is solid. I like the way it is shot and brought to life. It's rewritten in a few parts, to mostly positive effect - though ....

Pathetic, they cursed the original. The plot is not the same and the couple is now mixed-raced. Not only many positive white characters were replaced with black, but also the remaining white characters were given additional negative traits, so we got a movie with stupid whites and sm ....
