Lionel Atwill is quite menacing as "Dr. von Niemann" in this horror mystery. Folks from a very superstitious European village start dying - drained of all their blood; and vampirism is their logical conclusion. Melvyn Douglas has a much more sceptical head on his shoulders and decide ....
