Extremely rough around the edges. Almost charmingly so, but not quite. <em>'Gold'</em> hits many a trope/cliché for what it aims to do, which is obvious to see but it's not produced with the softest of touches. I do like the cast, from Maisie Williams to James Nesbitt to Kerry Con ....
